In 1983, G-SHOCK created the genre of a new "robust watch". Unrivalled by many imitators, G-SHOCK has been an original for 35 years and today inspires fans worldwide with various artist and designer cooperations. The resistant men's watch has many technical and useful details.
Solar operation Solar cells provide the energy supply for the watch
independently and environmentally friendly. Excess solar energy is stored in a rechargeable battery.
The hands and/or index are fluorescent coated and glow in the dark after the watch has been exposed to a light source.
Barometer (260 / 1.100 hPa)
A special sensor measures the air-pressure (measurement range: 260/1.100 hPa.) and shows it symbolically on the display. This makes it possible to detect premature weather tendencies.
Thermometer (-10°C / +60°C)
A sensor measures the ambient temperature of the watch and displays it in degrees Celsius (-10°C /+60°C)
A directional sensor detects and displays the direction of magnetic north.
Altimeter 10,000 m
A pressure sensor detects changes in air pressure and converts the result into altitude data up to 10,000 m.
The time display can be set to either 12-hour or 24-hour format. In the 12-hour mode, a "p" appears in the display for the second half of the day - i.e. 12 noon until 23.59 pm.
Key Tones On/Off
If desired, the key tones can be switched off with the mode key. After switching off, there is no more beep when switching from one function to the next. Set alarms or countdown timers are still active after the key tones have been switched off.
Waterproof classification (10 bar)
Perfect for swimming and snorkelling. The watch is tested for water resistance up to 10 bar according to ISO 22810.
Made of extremely durable and flexible synthetic resin that's the ideal material for bracelets.
5 daily alarms
The daily alarm reminds you of daily recurring events by sounding at the set time. This model has five independent alarms - particularly convenient for taking medication or meeting regular appointments.
Double LED Light
The analogue dial and digital display are illuminated by a light-emitting diode at the touch of a button so that everything can be seen even in the dark.
Insensitive to cold (-10 °C)
Even temperatures down to -10 °C can’t harm this watch.
Automatic pointer adjustment
The automatic pointer adjustment checks the initial position of the pointer hourly and corrects it if necessary - both in the event of adjustment, e.g. due to shocks, and under the influence of magnetism.
Altimeter data memory
Depending on the model, up to 40 altitude data can be stored in the watch's data memory and recalled at any time. Each data set consists of a measured height combined with date and time. In addition to the individual heights, the maximum and minimum heights are also stored during a measurement.
Stopwatch - 1/1 min. - 24 hrs.
For all athletes who want to know exactly: Elapsed time, split time and end time are measured with an accuracy of hundredths of a second. The measuring capacity of the clock reaches up to 24 hours.
Timer - 1/1 sec. - 1 hrs.
For everyone who wants to know exactly: The countdown timer helps to remember special or recurring events by emitting an acoustic signal at the set time. The time can be set down to the second and up to 1 hour in advance. This function is particularly practical for daily use of medication or interval training.
Hand Moving function
At the push of a button, the hands provide a view of the digital displays, so that, for example, the stop function or weekday can be read without restriction.
Smart Access Technology
The Smart Access system allows the watch to be set quickly and intuitively using an electronic crown. By pressing and turning, functions such as the stopwatch, countdown timer, alarm or world time can be easily adjusted. Crown safety device
Secures the crowns against unintentional change to another function mode.
The height addition adds up all the metres climbed. So, one can see at a glance what altitude difference was covered on tour.
