ADDIX Technology
ADDIX is produced using a newly designed process in a completely new mixer. In their factory they now have complete hardware with which they realize the most modern and precise mixing process currently available in the bicycle tire industry. Because all parameters can be varied without limit, completely new dimensions are opened up. It is this high-end mixing technology, controlled by precise specifications, that makes completely new compound properties possible - with ADDIX, a new level of performance and quality is achieved.

SnakeSkin
One of the most effective inventions that Schwalbe has developed for the bike. Only about 40-50 g heavier a tire by the SnakeSkin fabric. Thus, it is optimally protected from contact with sharp edges, which can quite quickly slit the sidewall of light competition tires.

RaceGuard
Double layered fabric under the tread. The ideal puncture protection, if a tire should be above all fast and light.

DoubleDefense
Combined puncture protection in three different versions: In the Race version protect SnakeSkin (all around) and additionally RaceGuard (under the tread). In Tour tires, SnakeSkin acts on the sidewalls and high-density V-Guard under the tread. "Plus" tires, on the other hand, combine a layer of GreenGuard under the tread and SnakeSkin on the sidewalls.
