With a weight of 240 grams, the double-inmould construction has been made much lighter and specially adapted to the needs of long cross-country competitions. 17 air vents provide optimal ventilation even on hot racing days and the lowered rear offers more safety.
The high-quality pads are removable and washable and promise additional ventilation. The uvex IAS size adjustment system makes it easy to adjust the width of the helmet and the missing shield gives the athlete a wide field of vision in any position on the bike and is not restricted by the helmet. An optional plug-in LED promises additional safety during training at dusk.
The protective material EPS is foamed directly into the polycarbonate shell: For a lightweight helmet construction with maximum impact resistance and the perfect fusion of EPS inner layer and PC outer layer.

With the uvex IAS system, helmets can be adjusted in width. Heads differ not only in their size, but also in their height. The uvex IAS-3D system therefore offers the additional option of exact adjustment to the individual head height.
FAS strap system
The fast-adapting system strap can be easily and steplessly adapted exactly to your own head shape. This keeps the helmet firmly on the head in all situations and the webbing always in the optimal position.
The UVEX Monomatic comfort closure can be adjusted and adjusted in several stages with just one hand. The closure is torsion-proof and has opening protection in the event of a fall. The UVEX Monomatic is equipped with a comfort pad for a pressure-free fit.
