As the fastest aero helmet ever tested in the "Bike Valley" wind tunnel, the ADWATT is in a class of its own. In close cooperation with the reigning TT European Champion Victor Campenaerts and the HJC engineers, the helmet was tested and developed in the Belgian wind tunnel until all involved persons were more than satisfied with the result. Thanks to its spherical shape, the helmet delivers fantastic and almost identical aerodynamic measurements with and without visor. At the same time, the Venturi Dynamics System provides maximum ventilation.
INTERNAL REINFORCEMENT STRUCTURE
The skeleton of the helmet, which is intended to preserve the structure of the helmet in the event of an crash, is firmly attached to the EPS. It not only holds the helmet together, but also provides support in the event of an impact.
ADVANCED AIR CHANNEL SYSTEM
Air Channels are our air channels which run inside the helmet. Depending on the speed, cold air flows through the front openings, glides through the air channels and transports warm air through the rear openings. Optimal air circulation inside the helmet cools the head during the ride.
An in-mold construction is the combination of EPS material with the outer polycarbonate shell. This results in a clean finish and a much firmer structure, which increases safety and stiffness.
HJC road Cycle helmets are characterised by their particularly light construction. All materials, their composition and thickness are optimized in many tests in such a way that the smallest possible weight is achieved with the highest protection of the brain.
